Garden Rose Wedding Frame

Decorate a special wedding picture frame with dimensional Paper Blossom paper roses that will last forever.

McGill Supplies Needed

    Other Supplies Needed

    • Wooden Frame - 5" x 7"
    • Cream paint and paint brush
    • Patterned scapbook paper
    • Clear quick-setting paper crafting glue
    • Cream and Green cardstock
    • Gold Ink

  • Punch the Floral Petals 6 times in cream card stock. Follow techniques to Shape, Pinch and Bend to form petals. (Tech. #1-3) Follow How-To Instructions to make the Rose.
  • Punch and Cup 1 green Alpine Snowflake to create flower base. (Tech. #4)
  • Starting with the largest to the smallest sizes, glue petals to the base until you reach the center. (Tech. #5) Use the tweezers to tightly roll the last 2 small petals inward to form the center of the Rose. Make 4 cream Roses following the Techniques.
  • Punch 2-3 Birch Leaves for each Rose. Shape each leaf. (Tech. #1) Use the 1mm stylus to add thin veining details to the leaves.
  • Rub a little gold ink on the outside edges of each leaf.
  • To create small bud: Cup 1 green Alpine Snowflake. (Tech. #4) Punch Floral Petals 3 times. Follow Tech. #1-3 to create petals. Glue petals to flower base, starting with largest to smallest overlapping to keep them tight. Roll the petals and base inward to create the bud.
  • Use a plain 5” x 7” wooden frame painted cream. Glue scrapbook paper to the front of the frame. Trim to fit.
  • Glue flowers and leaves to frame to complete decoration. Add photo and display.
